Bought a 20oz bottle from Walmart.
Tastes like orange flavored Baja. Drinks smooth; this bottle feels less carbonated as is the case with regular Baja Blast that I’ve purchased from Walmart. Has a darker orange color. Has the same sort of “bite” as Baja Blast, meaning the zest/tang sort of taste/feeling that comes along upon swallowing. I’d rather have this than regular Mountain Dew most days, but I’d rather have regular Baja Blast than this. I feel that the orange flavor gives this one an orange soda vibe that takes away from that snappy lime-ish zest that regular Baja has. It’s there, just less prominent. Slight hint of tropical punch, like a Kool-Aid or something similar. Seems more syrupy (think high fructose corn syrup) than regular Baja. I think it’s from the orange not covering it up as well as the lime from the regular Baja (the reason regular Baja is my favorite). Has that nice carbonated throat hit like regular Baja. Tastes basically like Baja and live wire mixed, with a slight tropicalness, but it’s mostly the orange that stands out.
8/10, would drink again.
