Sprite + Tea Review:

Date reviewed: May 25, 2025

Mikey’s state: Sober

Bought a 20oz bottle from Walmart.

First of all, the carbonation is spot on. A nice crisp bite. Seems more carbonated than a regular Sprite. The taste is pretty good. The lemon-tea flavor comes immediately after the bite, tasting similar to a Brisk Lemon Iced Tea. The Sprite flavor comes last; my least favorite part. Upon exhaling after the swallow, you get a slight Arizona Arnold Palmer vibe. To be clear, I don’t hate Sprite, but I’ve never been a huge fan. I’d certainly rather drink this than regular Sprite. Since the taste is basically half Sprite, I’d prefer if it were even more tea-forward. The similarity to Brisk Lemon Iced Tea is what’s keeping me glued to the bottle. It has that same strong addictive quality. The only thing keeping me from downing it faster is the carbonation, which Brisk Lemon doesn’t have. I’d say that’s a win. It really encourages you to take your time and enjoy the beverage, rather than down it in huge gulps. The sweetness seems about right. Has the same syrupy vibe as most high fructose corn syrup containing sodas. Leaves the mucus thick. Would probably be good as a mixer, I’m thinking Twisted Tea esque. It’s not a bad soda by any means.

8/10, would drink again.
